I grew up as nominal Catholic, spent a few years as evangelical through the influence of my dear evangelical friends. After discovering through self study the beauty and richness of Catholicism I decided to go home and have been enjoying being Catholic ever since. You may read my page “Rediscovering Catholicism” for my brief testimony. By profession I am certified (structural) engineer, working in Alberta, Canada under the shadow of Canadian Rockies. I am not Canadian born – I was born and grew up in Indonesia. Before settling down in Canada I lived in Thailand, Japan and Singapore. I started this blog on June 26, 2007 with the purpose to share my thoughts on the teaching of the Catholic Church in relation to that of Protestants and “Bible only” Christians. |
