Salvation in Catholicism

I just uploaded as a page, it is shown at top right of my blog, my post on Salvation in Catholicism.  It is brief explanation of Catholic understanding of salvation and its related issues.  Some of its statement were copied from my earlier posts.  My hope is I can explain in easy-to-undersatnd way the teaching of the Catholic Church on Salvation.

    Andrea,
I don’t think I ever wrote that. You lost track and this is the reason why you should not delete comments you don’t like. I have several posts on same issue. You can find them in predestination category – I too have scriptural support.

Vivator, I can’t find it but I seem to remember you saying to me that you had no idea where I got the idea of “eternal security” from. Was that you or someone else? In any case, I do believe that once a person is saved, he can never lose his salvation. I wrote a post on it today, at http://www.phenomenaltruths.wordpress.com. I have much scriptural support and I thought you might be interested to read it and to comment.

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this thoroughly, but also in a way that is easy to understand. You have a good gift, and this Catholic-leaning protestant is very grateful for it. I will be sharing this with my wife. Thank you so much!
